1U Rackmount Appliance with New Generation Intel® Atom™ Processor

NORTH ANDOVER, MA, April 7, 2010: WIN Enterprises, Inc., a leading designer and manufacturer of embedded controllers and platforms for OEMs, announces the PL-80120 a 1U rack-mounted hardware platform designed for network service applications. Built with Intel® Embedded IA components with long term availability, the PL-80120 supports the Intel® Atom™ N450, D510, and D410 low-voltage processors with CPU-integrated Northbridge chipset.

The device supports a high bandwidth DDR2 SODIMM slot with memory up to 2GB. In order to provide the best network performance and utilization the storage interfaces include one 3.5" SATA HDD and CompactFlash™. PL-80120 has six GbE Copper LANs with bypass function or 5 GbE Copper LANs with bypass function and 4 10/100 switch ports, all available from the front-panel. Two USB 2.0 ports, one RJ-45 console port and LED indicators for local system monitoring, management and power are also found on the front panel. The PL-80120 supports one Mini PCI socket, one PCI slot. PL80120 is RoHS, FCC and CE compliant.
