| The PL-10250 is a 1U rack-mount network security hardware platform for VPN, network, IDS/IPS, firewall, and bandwidth controller applications. It is based on Intel E7501+ICH3 + P64H2 chipset supporting Intel Pentium M processor with 400/533MHz FSB. It also supports DDR 200/266 RAM (PC2100 registered) with ECC for enhanced data integrity up to 8GB. PL-10250 integrates SafeXcel-1840 high performance security co-processor onboard, designed for VPN appliance market and optimized for IPSec. SFP is a new trend for Internet network applications. The flexibility of the GbE SFP port enables users to choose fiber or copper modules according to their requirement. For storing event logging and user data, PL-10250 can support the option of a 2.5" IDE HDD. The device has a 64-bit PCI-X 100MHz slot for expansion. A watchdog timer function monitors and generates an interrupt if processing stops. This ensures reliability in industrial standalone or unmanned environments. The device is FCC and CE compliant. | |
